FOOD & DRINK
All food is made at the cafe and the pastry display cabinet is always filled with delicious and tempting treats. Take away hot chocolates and coffees are enjoyed by those who have just braved the Pollock Holes or just want to wander along the cliff walk.
DESSERTS
All our desserts are made early every morning using the finest of ingredients. Crumbles; apple, mixed berry, rhubarb. Frangipane; peach, blue berry, strawberry, pear. Cheesecakes; snickers, lemon, baileys, lime. Cakes; chocolate, carrot, orange, coffee and walnut, lemon, victoria sponge, banoffee pie. Chocolate chip cookes, brownies, rice krispie squares, millionaire’s shortcake, chocolate muffins, cupcakes, fruit roulade, fruit pavlova, rocky road.
DRINKS
Our coffee beans are supplied by Ponaire which is an Irish owned and operated company based in Newport, Co. Tipperary. Some include; Americano, cappuccino, latte, doppio, espresso, hazelnut americano, vanilla latte, caramel macchiato, hot chocolates, chai latte, regular and herbal teas. Homemade smoothies are very popular during the Summer months and fresh orange juice is served all year round.
We also serve cocktails, wines and beer. We have a variety of soft drinks and our bottled water is supplied by Clare Spring, Lissycasey, Co. Clare. Now serving iced coffees!
WHAT WE HAVE ON OFFER
BREAKFAST
Breakfast is served from 9 o’clock every morning until 12.30. Some of the options are traditional Irish breakfast, Eggs Benedict served on homemade Brioche bread, scrambled eggs, bagels, pancakes and the very popular ‘Cliff Walk Special’ which consists of fresh fruit, topped with natural yoghurt and granola.
LUNCH 12.30 – 5.45
Lunch consists of our very popular fish and chips, open seafood sandwiches – crab and apple, prawn and smoked salmon. Seafood chowder and gluten free soups along with toasted and cold sandwiches and panini are also on the menu.
EVENING
Evening time is family time, pizza being the main food served! The pizza special is renowned at this stage and very popular, good value for money and includes two 12″ pizzas, two baskets of chips and four cold drinks. All food can be ordered for take away.
